    dd214 good to know and thanks for the info. Add: from what I've seen it seems the Score/Double Score sits between the Simplex series & Ledgend - a middle of the road machine that's simple with some allowable tweaks but not to heavy menu driven that one needs to dive into to get going.

    Backpacks

    I used to use a backpack to carry gear hiking in gold prospecting. Carried a breakdown sluice, pans etc. and extra coil and of course TP, chow and drinks. Sometimes when it was pretty full I carried the coil via clipping it to a carabiner to the outside of the pack - if it was an open spider...
