Help Identifying

Hello new to the forum, found this on a beach in the Long Island/Connecticut area and was looking for help identifying what it is. It appears to be copper and was stuck between pieces of rusted metal/rock. Logo appears to be “DB”. Quarter for scale.

I actually think I know what it is now… a “DODGE BROTHERS” emblem.
I found a wheel cap with that emblem on it some years ago and it just dawned on me how much this looked like that.
