    IT'S ALIVE!! I gambled and spent 5 bucks on a cheap charging cord for the Apple watch. The cord arrived today so I plugged it in and the watch's screen immediately lit up when it started charging! I'll let it charge for a while now but looks like I have a working apple watch!

    Nice find! They are rare. I've dug only one...1832. Mine was pretty rough too...just like all of the large cents I've found so far unfortunately.

    Thanks so much for identifying it! Not CW but I believe the site was used by the US army in the 50s and 60s so a tent rope adjuster fits with other finds at the site. I've found modern army buttons and bullets at the site too.

    The funny part of that story is I was trying out a new area that had VERY FEW signals and was really about to give up and BAM...out pops the ring. Unfortunately I didn't find any other goodies in the area (other than the marble).

    I remember those and actually had one at some point. This one is smaller than a spoon ring though. The only thing that has me scratching my head on this one is the lack of the 925 stamp. I'm like 99.9% sure it's silver. I don't have a test kit, but I've found enough silver items that were marked...
