Thanks so much for identifying it! Not CW but I believe the site was used by the US army in the 50s and 60s so a tent rope adjuster fits with other finds at the site. I've found modern army buttons and bullets at the site too.Tent rope adjuster. Was it found in CW site? Found other places too. That's a good find Mc!!

I think I heard about the wooden ones too. We probably won't get a signal on those Appreciate clearing that up, I certainlyMy old mind isn't what it used to be but if I remember correctly the tent rope tensioners used during the Civil War were made of wood. Most all of the ones I have found came from a Spanish-American war camp near me.
