    It may be camera angle, but it looks like the coils are hitting the coil off the front end of the coil. I would think the center of the coil would be the strongest.

    If you are referring to the batteries themselves, I've had mine in my Deus since new in 2012 and no problems...Knock Wood... It's saved a LOT in not buying AA's 8 at a time every couple of hunts.

    XP Deus Plastic Lugs for Coils

    there is also a 9"x5.5" HF coil. I've only heard of one person breaking a coil lug. I don't know which coil it was on though. I don't think it's an issue.

    Good place to bury the jerk... I have an extra remote if you want to barrow it until you get the Deus II. Bonus for me when you load in your programs.

    Here's an iffy target. Big chunk of iron with that Chinese Cash Coin stuck to it. The only thing in the hole... The XP Deus can and will it sniff out. Deus II... If performs a well, I will be getting one. As far as depth in H2o I've had cameras that were good to 10-15 feet and flooded them free...
