    Peace I’m out!

I've been on the toilet all morning with intestinal issues. I was full of it, and seem to still be!

I need some help here.....Are these Native American Artifacts?

I used to find artifacts as a kid, walking through the tobacco fields. Fresh cutover and logging roads are good places, too.

    Wilson Detectors

The pinpoint volume knob has static when you turn it, so you have to find a sweet spot, but that knob doesn't really need to be moved once you put it where you want it. There used to be a "channel cleaner" spray that would take care of static.

The coil on my ATD is probably a 5". I was air testing some small gold jewelry with it in all metal. Was not impressed, but on coins or relics, I think it would hit much better.

Thanks for all the helpful replies! I'm hoping to get out with the ATD next week when it warms up some. There is a PIN switch on the face, where up is disc, and down is "GND". I can't really see the need for this switch. Last question is how to ground balance the ATD? I will likely be hunting in...

Years ago, I got permission to hunt a farm, and found a virgin cavalry camp. I think it was the Friendly Forum that I posted pictures of my finds on. This pissed a couple of other forum member off, and they couldn't believe that I was having so much luck finding cool relics, and basically called...

How many still use a vintage classic detector from the 70's-80's?

Detectors are kinda like fishing reels. The old Zebco 33's that were made way back in the 70's still work fine. I have several that I got as a kid, and they have been used extensively. Fishermen(including myself) like to have the most "hyped" new baitcasters out there. Nowadays I get more...

    How About this Comparison

This is one reason I like playing with old toys, instead of newer, fancy ones. 😆

We all go through temporary moods of disappointment, but in most cases, time heals the situation.
