If I could ask God a favor…..

I’d ask him to give Dogs a couple years longer life span. They’re such good friends to us and it hurts so bad to let them go. I know also many of us would gladly give some of our lifetime to someone we love.

I Lost my best freind on Xmas Eve last year .What I am going to say is the truth that weenie dog (Chilimac) showed more love towards me than my family members I have a feeling that I will see him again on the other side.

You guys hit it. The first time as an adult that I shed tears was when we lost our 14 yr. old Schnauzer. She gave so much to us.

You can't beat the love a dog has, it's the best, no hidden agenda.
I remember telling a guy it's like losing a member of the family when you lose your dog and he said no it's worst than that.
Just look into a dog's eyes if you want to see what unconditional love looks like.

They are the best!! I stopped dating for over four years when my dog passed away. She was my company, the one who took care of me when she was alone in the forest... I miss her very much.

So true. I have cried over the years when I lost some dogs. My Doberman that passed away a few years ago went civil war relic hunting with me almost every time I went. The owners of the property I went really liked him after they met him the first time.

I feel ya. I like to believe that we are all here for a reason, including dogs. After surviving 5 years in combat and coming home not “ok”, then losing my wife of 23 years unexpectedly at 43 in 2018, I can say with 100% certainty that I owe my dogs my life. They are what remains of my marriage. They have given me the love, attention, and affection I need to continue on. As strange as it may sound, they give me a feeling of purpose and hope every day. I will be forever grateful to them.
