    Fisher Cz5

I would say no air gap for me . I tend to be as close to the ground as possible. touching the grass or dirt through out the swing. and definitely on the ground while working a suspect, target.

    Fisher Cz5

exactly right, If you can slow down and work the target , a repeatable signal is what you want. sometimes the questionable signals hold good targets. Yes the meter starts jumping back and forth is another indicator to slow down and work the target. All in all the Audio to me is king ...

    Fisher Cz5

The way i would unmask iron or co- located targets was with the pinpoint button. During pinpointing, the target should be small . usually with iron i would get an elongated signal meaning iron. Also during pinpointing if you got two close small blips i would dig lots of deep silver with iron...

    Fisher Cz5

The Cz5 is an excellent analog detector !! Very simple to set up . virtually immune to EMI . Very deep . The only negative i have with it is it a little heavy. It made me become Ambidextrous. Just run Zero disc . You have low , medium and high tones. The volume control will allow you to have...

    CZ7 Volume

The volume control won’t have any effect on depth of the Cz . sensitivity will give you a little more depth. The volume 1-5 gives you modulated audio 6 and above gives louder sounds. Optimum sensitivity would be 3-4 . above 4 seems to make the targets sound bigger than they are. As far as volume...

    WSAll-XL Headphones

There are a couple of aftermarket headphones that accept the puck . They are cheaper and perform well. I use a set from Quest . Same size as the XLs , comfortable also .

Who does Coil repair in the USA?

You might contact places that do repairs on CB or ham radios?? they may be able to do something. Let us know if you find someone to fix the coil wire covers . I have a small coil that came with a CZ 3 D that needs repair. thanks Tony

Deeptech Vista x vs Goldenmask 4extreme

Yes do give some thoughts on the GM 4xtreme after you have some time with it. Can you tell the difference between nickels and trash??? And how does it handle trash overall?? I am always interested in New Technology even if it is analog.

    Happy again with a CZ5

It’s a great detector, It’s weight has made me Ambidextrous. I can swing it right or left handed with precision after years of use. The weight is what bothers me most.

    Pondering getting the CZ 3D

The Cz is a good deep target hunter. I don’t have any experience with the F75 . I will say it’s a nickel finding beast . I recently picked up a 1021 CZ3 D and will be putting it to use soon. People say they dig deep iron with them . that has never been the case for me. I had also come up with a...

I run Sensitive Full Tones all the time. For me I am used to the audio that is so discriptive.

Gone Back To A NEW Nox 800.

Some words of advice, if you’re more comfortable with the 800 . Use it to your advantage. I seriously doubt that the 900 or even a manticore will put more targets in your finds pouch. The more expensive detectors usually give you more information on a target, but it’s really all about you...
