Small Coil , Which one is the best?

My favorite coil for coin and jewelry in trash areas is my whites 6 x 10 DD. Works Great as I continue to find that nice hit among trash.... including several Indians and a Barber dime at the old high school. Its my most used coil, has excellent pinpointing and soil mineralization is not an...

    DX-1 Sunray probe

I have one on my V3i and it works great. I also use a hand held pointer (Garrett). The DX-1 helps when I need a little more depth to find if the item is still in the hole or not or if it is the chunk I just dug out. -DakotaScott

I just stumbled across this post. I have the exact same headphones that I use with my MP3 player, iPhone as well as when I am metal detaching with my VX3. They work on the same frequency band as the built in wireless in the White;s V series detectorsm but I couldn't get around the required...

do u guys know if theres a wireless backphone in the works at whites

I'm using a set of TDK on the ear wireless headphones (cooler in the heat). They work great, are wireless and the transmitter is just a little big bigger than a 50 cent piece and plugs into the headphone jack on my VX3. I was hoping I might be able to trick it into working with the built in...

Deepest or hardest target you ever found and are glad you dug up thread.

I would not say it was the deepest or hardest target I have ever dug up but I certainly was glad I did dig it up. I was detecting on the edge of a sandy beach area at a bigger lake here in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I scanned what looked like yet another well defined pop top that was 6...
