YYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A DIGGIN' RELIX I WILL GO!!!! A DIGGIN' R

You do a lot of relic hunting and you know your machine. My Explorer handled the dirt fine  Brian told me how to run it hot and I picked out a few keepers. I'm looking forward to hunting with the TDI but ya can't use it in the rain  ..so the Explorer will be close at hand if I needed it.

When the ground eases off, I can increase the power a bit, but usually try to find a happy medium for the ground conditions and stick with it. You'll get more depth with a smaller coil in hot ground than trying to punch through with a big coil... which can be very frustrating.
