I found my 7th Walker for the year, Yahoo. Today I started working a new " old " ball field and it's a good one. I'm not going to say anything about this place until I finish working it. Also I'm just too tired to type anything, lol. Today I only worked about 1/2 of the field and here's what I found.

Nice haul Mark
For Sure
I like that Gookyear key fob Kinda cool for those who collect keychains.

another amazing hunt Mark....what is you silver count for the year?

I'm up to 141 silver coins for the year.

Terry, on the way to this place I saw a nice old vacant farm house so I tracked down who owned it. The owner told me that he would let me MD it , but his son just got a MD'er and he's going to MD it. I don't have much luck at doing that but you sure do, but I'll keep tring.

Man that is a Great haul! Congrats on all that silver! I would love to find a field like that! Very good hunting, Beale.

Was the silver inside the fence on the playing field or outside near a concession stand?

I was working the outfield. I like to start in left field because i feel that's usually the best field of the three. I work from the grass edge of the infield out to the home run fence and work my way around to right field. It can take me 15 hours or more to work a playing field. The field that I was at yesterday I was there for 6 1/2 hrs and covered a 1/3 to maybe half of the field. Another thing about ball fields is that they are a good place to find gold rings. I've found 6 gold rings so far this year and they all have come from ball fields, but to find the gold you have to dig everything that beeps and I mean everything.

work those fields slow and dig just about everything to get those gold rings. Here is a pic of a large 14K ring (along side a wheat cent) that I pulled out of an old ballfield the night before last. Even though it was 5 inches deep, being 14K and pretty large, it rang up like a copper cent. HH Randy

That's a nice one Randy.

what I meant was.............this post was MARK'S finds.........and you commented on Randy's finds. You could have at least mentioned something about Marks finds in MARK's post, just common courtesy

Randy's ring was a great find no doubt, nobody would argue that.
