You guys ever lick your coins ?

I'm not admitting to anything!! :look: There have been times that I was really anxious to get a coin clean to see what it is though!

I hate to admit it but I've licked a coin to get to the date.

Chris

i take the grand kids out and let them lick the coins but they end up biting them so i don't let them touch the coins no more

I swallowed a dime when I was a little boy in the early 50's and my oldest brother retreived it from the outhouse, washed it off and spent it. He did not lick it, however. Those were tough days and I had an entourage every time I visited the outhouse. lol
When we were little we put lead sinkers on our fishing line with our teeth and used a chinaberry limb for a pole. We didn't know what pliers were and it's a wonder we didn't get lead poisoning. God takes care of little kids. That powdered cow milk we drank with that mineral rich well water must have made for some strong teeth. Your post brought back some fond memories. Thanks. HH
