i got to the lane kinda late..................right at low tide, my buddy lowtide tim and sharkhunter bob were there and i tried to reach out to them before i drove down, but i could not and u know what happens then, your mind really messes with u......................i even broke the speed limit............................God i should have stayed home and watch golf.

but ............like i said, your mind rules.......................gold rules your mind.......................we are all hopeless i am afraid.........................the quest for the gold stuff has gotten out of hand..................for me anyway.

Hahaha I could think of worse addictions my friend. Mark Twain is quoted as saying "Golf is a good walk spoiled"..I come to think of my non productive days at the beach in a similar light...."Metal detecting is just a long walk on the beach". The gold shows up like anything else you wait on... when it wants to....like deer or fish or attractive women. And not necessarily in that order.

I look at it as any time at the beach, the exercise, the water, the wildlife and the wildlife is time well spent! The rings are icing on the cake my friend! I've spent plenty of time in the hot, bug infected woods looking for a camp site that felt alot like wasted time, but never at the Beach. Sandmagnet
