Year End Summary

OH yeah, that beach silver is nasty. When silver hits $50/oz I might just cash it in too. But not my Morgan dollars !!! Ive only found a few and they came from the ocean. Actually one was found up in the dry sand and in fine condition. It actually had black freckles. Thinking it was washed up during hurricane Sandy as part of a collection that washed out of a house ???
Anyway, silver from the ground is pretty. Just dont understand why it doesnt tarnish ????

Yeah I've found a lot of silver in saltwater just found a 1/2 reale that was so thin and it had 4 holes in it hit at 42 on manticore I almost did not dig it
lots of silver coins have been corroded away so bad they hit lower than a penny so the numbers on land do not always ring up the same in the salt so I dig it all.

Yep, that's the key to successful beach hunting, you have to dig it all. I remember many years ago, I got a repeatable click Peaked my curiosity. Turned out it was a gold ring in the shape of a butterfly. Just never know what items will ring up in salt water. Good thing the early Minelabs didnt have meters !!!!

Yep I know I dig stuff that A lot of people would not consider digging and 90% of my finds are in the rocks so a shovel is mandatory scoops are useless most of the time for me…
