Well I barely heard this one, 14'' down in the wet sand. It's 14K with 8 three point diamonds. I think i'm gonna slow down even more to hear those faint hits, they are most likely deep gold rings. Gene

I've noticed I can hear the deep faint signals better in PP, they are smooth, in disc they sometimes get choppy on my Excal. HH John

Thanks guys and gals, I think I figured it out. I probably wasn't holding my mouth right while swinging my detector before I found that gold ring. Ya see there's the Gold mouth look, clinched teeth, solid stare, determind face, bother me your dead, I'm gonna find a gold ring or else look. Then there's the silver look. Half open mouth, glancing around, admiring the ladies your own age, half smile. praying to the good Lord you find some kind of silver ring today look. Then there's the probably won't find crap today look. Walking to fast, detector 4 inches off the ground, smiling like a drunk chicken, checking out all the girls not your age,with bugged out eyes, stumbling over kids, falling in deep holes from looking at these hot hardly any bikini on, not your age, California girls look. Anyway, Thanks again and be sure to hold your mouth righ, it really does help. Gene
