XY program question

The downside of using XY screen is targets challenged yet detected can be skewed as far as their presentation on XY screen. Listening for iron tone though can help one base how accurate xy screen data is. Deeper targets can be hard to judge too with XY screen.

Cheers

I used the XY a lot when I first began using the deus a number of years ago. What I don't like is when you have say a coin and iron mixed it will show the iron squiqqle on the screen rather than the coin straight line so you have to listen for the right tone. I'd rather just listen w/o the screen.

unreliable.. on sunday i had tid 75 and good on the xy screen... it was a lid of a drinks can

+1 This is the same problem as relying too much on VID.
