Xterra Pro earbuds.

My Exterra pro will arrive Thursday 5/12/23.
I see a problem coming. I normally use my Equinox 800. And always use the WM08 with wired earbuds.
However the WM08 I’ll not work on the Xterra Pro.
I need to be able to go wireless on the Xterra Pro to wired earbuds.
anyone have an idea if there is a way to do it.
The only option I can think of is to use A Garrett Zlink and didn’t want to do that.
Hate to think I have to go to another competitor brand just to use earbuds on a Minelab product.
I don’t use head because they are too dangerous in some places I detect. I have to hear my serounding‘s
any help would be appreciated.
Doug.

Twelve south air fly blue tooth wireless earbuds should work for you . You can get them on Fee bay

Have you considered “on-the-ear” bluetooth headphones. They allow you to hear surrounding sounds while still being wireless because they don't cover your ears as opposed to “over-the-ear” headphones which do cover up your ears. I bought the 1Mii bluetooth transmitter and the Creative JAM V2 bluetooth on-the-ear headphones from the big A online site for my wife's X-Terra Pro. I also bought an 8” 3.5mm male to male cable from the same site to replace the 6” cable that came with the bluetooth transmitter because if the transmitter is too close to the XTP control pod it picks up interference from the pod. There are other posts on the Finds XTP forum discussing this combination. Check Treasurechic's posts.
Don't the earbuds effectively seal your ears off from hearing surrounding sounds?

I fastened the transmitter to the top surface of the shaft clamp that is in front of the control pod using heavy duty velcro. Again, you definitely want to keep the transmitter away from the control pod or the transmitter will pick up interference from the control pod. This location keeps the whole bluetooth setup quiet and makes a neat installation. It will also keep the transmitter up and away from wet grass when you set the XTP down when digging. I mounted the transmitter with the charging port facing toward the coil. I painted a small white dot next to the “TX” where the “TX / OFF / RX” switch is to make it easier for my wife to see which way to move the switch turn it on (TX).

Thank you.

I do not see “APTX LL” in the manufacturer's specs to indicate these ear buds are truly low latency. There is a response saying they are “low latency for watching TV”. Not the same in my opinion. Unless I saw “APTX LL” in the manufacturer's specs I would not purchase these for metal detecting. Just my opinion.

Ok I’ll wait wait. I understand the APTXLL. on the XTP Itself. But there has to be something that will work with the Transmitter module that is sold separately on Amazon, that you posted the link to.

Do a search on Amazon for “bluetooth aptx ll earbuds”. I came up with this for example: https://www.amazon.com/HomeSpot-Blu...fix=bluetooth+aptx+ll+ear+buds,aps,115&sr=8-3
There are probably more, but I didn't spend the time looking. These say they are APTX LL. Read the reviews. This should get you started. I'm not recommending anything because I haven't studied any of these earbuds. Good luck, Doug.

I actually bought a pair of these for my Vanquish. They work great without any lag when paired with an APTX Low latency transmitter. However they have their cons for sure! Battery life isn't great (maybe 5 hours per charge). They also have a somewhat annoying swishing sound after each beep but I got used to that. But they're definitely an option and they work fine for someone like me.
