XP Update on Deus 2 Hitting the US

Now, it seems some guys are upset and if they try breaking your balls remember your safe word is Garrett,,you utter that word and I'll be here to catch your back. lol
Don't shoot the messenger.----It's good to get accurate info on this---at least now we know where we stand (in line).-------Even if I should never get a Deus 2, I've got my Deus 1 and it's an amazing detector also.

In this whole “2 new units coming! One from Nokta one from XP!“ thing, for some reason in the rush of information I equated that to “they will be competitors with each other and this dynamic duo will be the next jump”. It sure looks like the Legend is in the Equinox category and the D2 is by itself. I am 1,000% on board with paying the money for the best tech available.
What I was really referring to about Calabash was the fact that he has 3 or 4 D2’s already. They didn’t send him 4 machines to test! HOW did he get the others? That’s what I’m asking, and perhaps he can shed some light on that while he’s here….

Distributor and DEALER are different. There’s one in Waukesha Wi and the other. Two main warehouses is where they ALL come from.

Your right. There are only two distributors in the U.S. One is in Texas . All the dealers get there detectors from them.
Also, a few dealers I talked to hadn’t ordered any before around December 8th when I had contacted them, so maybe they won’t even be getting any of the first batch. They said they mainly carried gold machines and didn’t really consider the Deus a gold machine. And these were US XP dealers directly, according to the XP website. Maybe more will be given to the larger dealers, distributors?

I really really want to have my Deus II in my hands -waiting isn’t fun! On the other hand, if I had it right now, I’d also need a heated suit , heated gloves and a jackhammer to make much use of it.- so there’s that. Not to mention the 2-feet of snow I’m sure is in my not too distant future-so there’s that , too.

Disappointing but I agree not Calabash's fault; I believe he is a straight shooter and only relaying to us on this forum what he was told by "whomever" at XP Deus France regarding the numbers of new Deus II's that are to be delivered here in the US. I guess my biggest question is this: XP Deus France must realize that the XP is the TOP DOG at the moment of detectors on planet earth in the detector market. They've had 10 years since the initial release of Deus I in 2008/2009 I believe to understand the huge marketing demand of the XP Deus. XP Deus as any conglomerate company does the internal marketing analysis and understands the "tremendous" user demand in the US market and elsewhere for these machines. Help to understand why then such few initial deliveries at the initial launch? It does not make sense to me. Is it that Deus XP does not have the complete "total" of all XP Deus IIs to deliver (COVID-19, chip delays/supply chain issues) and must build these (which would result in the delay)? Or is it is the distribution system flawed due to either supply chain/logistic issues whereby XP Deus is barred on "X" amount of delivers due to some US Homeland Security customs protocol? It makes the anticipation worthwhile knowing at some time-these units will be delivered; who knows...it may mean we receive the new and improved DEUS III models when they are delivered! Happy Digging XP (Deus I users) for now....... : - )

From what I seen on FaceBook groups they had to fight for them by ordering ONLINE Only but I suppose if you know the right people they would get you one. The thing I don't get some of them got two and with short supply that seemed weird and now they are flipping them lol.
Who knows maybe people will have enough of it and cancel their orders.
True. I paid through Paypal. I guess I could get a refund. Something doesnt seem right. Companies have to survive by SUPPLY and demand. The demand is surely here.
True... They should become known as masters in marketing.
