XP product availability?

It seems that XP coils, WS4s, etc. are mostly out of stock no matter where you look. I had one dealer tell me he thinks XP might be going out of business. Is the lack of product availability a result of COVID supply chain interruptions or is there something bigger going on? Anyone hear any rumblings?

One XP dealer told me it’s related to Covid. Hope this helps.
I’ll also add that I had to wait close to a month (after ordering) to get my detector.

I hope that there will NOT be any more metal detectors go out of business, i am having too much fun with them.

Been waiting on them to ship more WS4 back phones myself so i can get a pair.

The last month I've called metal detector.com to get a few deus things, they told me a big shipment is stopped at customs,, been over a month now that I think about it.

There is a significant global microchip shortage going on right now. Its impacting everything from cell phones to automobiles and I would not be surprised at all if XP were also effected.

Lots of imported electronics arrive in the US by air. I wouldn't be surprised if either the surge in online shopping/higher volume of things being shipped or the lower number of flights between the US and Europe (passenger flights often also carry cargo) are limiting how quickly XP can restock here.
