XP DEUS II HOW TO SETUP FOR WATER USE...

Great video CD
Looks very straight forward to set up.
 
CD, I do a lot of beach detecting here in asia. When beach detecting I dig a lot of holes that quickly start to collapse and fill with water. How deep into slushy watery sand can you go before the dive antenna is needed for the audio? Thanks andkeep the videos coming!
 
The actual depth is is stated in the manual for antenna depth usage... I would just put it on and not worry about it.

I would imagine it wouldn't go any deeper than the Deus1 without an antenna. Like maybe an inch or so.
I would go with CD on this and install the antenna and not worry about it, and if I'm in the surf it will still be working.
