Calabash, have you ever found a US nickel at that depth with a Nox?Check this out!
Too funny for sure. I just got a new Tape Measure made for Grandpa's today! What a thrill I got from my grandson.I am not going to get a disagreement with you on the Deus forum but I am gonna say you need to buy a new tape measure. 14 inch nickle on edge.... Please do bury one at 14 and show us on your beach cause it aint happening on mine. Nox is done for all practical purposes unless someone likes swinging a nose heavy uncomfortable detector.
I find coins on the beach with my Nox over 14" they are not great sounding signals but I know to dig them..Calabash, have you ever found a US nickel at that depth with a Nox?
Here in NJ I have, and some are standing start up, which causes me to dig towards one side of the whole.

I have in the dry sand. I think I have found Nickels that deep in dry sand with deus 1, vanquish 540 and the nox. But once in wet sand only the nox goes that deep. Then once water flows in the hole with target I lose more depth. So I'm guessing somewhere between 12-14" in watery sand with nox. Bama beaches are white sugar sand . So if the deus can match the nox , which it seems to have at least achieved that, then the nox won't be needed at all by me or my buddy. Way too many benefits in the deus 2 over the equinox.I find coins on the beach with my Nox over 14" they are not great sounding signals but I know to dig them..

Calabash, I understand and believe me I am interested in using the latest tech out there. I am excited about the Deus II and will continue to watch videos on it as they come out.I know minelab machines are good been using the Nox from the first batch... I am done with the Nox ... I am not brand loyal I use what works the best for what I do... Minelab kings of the beach ?...IMO No more...Have you read the Deus II manual? If not go look at the beach program freqs.....IMO going to find the gold left in the sand by the others over the years....
