XP DEUS 2 Version 1.10 Multi-Nail Test 02 [INCREDIBLE RESULTS]

I detected a few times with the XP Deus II V1.0 and was getting a lot of falsing on iron. It didn't seem to separate ferrous from nonferrous targets as well either. All the banter going around on the internet made me doubt that the update was viable.

I updated to V1.10 and did a separation test with a nickel and some iron nails. I was so surprised with the results that I decided to make a video and share it. I know this is an "air" test and things will be different in the ground, but nevertheless, this test opened my eyes.

I used the Factor Fast Program without doing a noise cancel or ground balance. The only change I made was to increase the iron volume so you could hear it better.

I've seen videos adding notch to 20 will allow the nonferrous IDs to show on the screen.
 
Idhrelics, are you coming out with a 4th or more video(s) on e Deus2 ?? Enjoyed the other 3.

I hope to do a lot of XP Deus II videos when I start feeling a little better. I'm having some tough time with arthritis that comes and goes. I detected a while with it in my iron infested yard today while trying out my new GoPro Hero 11 camera. I found a lot of nonferrous junk, but none of the iron fooled me. Keep watching my channel. I've been uploading random video clips every day to keep me motivated and hopefully to entertain and help people a little. Thanks for the quesiton and for watching.
 
Looks good in the ground it’s probably going to give off the halo effecting the signal happens with all detectors I’ll have to update mine to the newest 1.10

Yes, I left the Factory Fast Program ar the 40kHz Max setting.

I detected with it for seveal hours in my iron saturated yard yesterday. My yard shows as about medium in mineralization on the XP Deus graph. I dug a pouch full of nonferrous junk, but no iron or nails except for the one in the holes with the other targets. I have detected this yard for over 22 years with a lot of great detectors. I thought I had dug all the trash with the exception of the nails. To show you how much iron is in the ground, it took me 20 years off-and-on to clear out a 20x20 foot area for a test garden. To find out that the ground is so mineralized, probably from the rust, that I can't pick most targets up over 6-8" deep. As far as the halo effect, the ferrous targets have a halo effect as well. You have to remember that these detectors look at more than the conductive value of the target. I could here 100's of iron targets, mostly nails and wires from experience. Swinging the coil sounded like a machine gun. Every tone I got other than iron, I dug it; no nails turned up. There is definitely something good going on with the XP Deus II V1.10.

So you are still using 1.0 not 1.1 ?
 
Pretty impressive at the end. No falsing on the nails and still able to pick up the nickel. Pretty sure my etrac would just null over that! Would be curious how far you could raise the coil and still get the signal. Just a thought for future vids

Be interesting to hear what about 1.10 they didn’t like.
I’m sure different ground conditions are going to have different effects and results. Thats one problem of the updates. Might be tweaked to benefit some users with their ground conditions but possibly make worse for others. I don’t think they can possibly make a universal fix or program that will make it operate exactly the same for every soil type and area around the world.
Perhaps one day a manufacturer will make a US version, EU version, Asia version etc more specifically tailored to a geographical region with further geographical and soil type breakdowns from there.
I don’t know what other explanations for the differences why would work better for some and worse for others other than location.

That’s what I’ve seen a few guys do hey I was out on my river spot today did well but not with D2 😐

I'll have to look into that but I don't understand how that could possibly work but who knows?

No, I am using V1.1 and it seems to be doing very well on the sites where I have used it thus far.

The nonferrous target will probably have a halo has well. It's not an exact science, but halo or not, something good is happening here; at least with what detecting I've done with it.
