I have a Minelab 505 that I love. The other day one of the ears on the stock coil broke off, due to old age (4 years ) or excessive use. So now I'm stuck. Does anyone know how to fix it? I see online there are coil repiar kits for the CTX3030 and other detectors but have found nothing for the 505. Any suggestions besides go and buy a new one? Thanks!
 
Get ahold of Morelic. He has a method of repair that's as good as any you'll find.
