Hey Bill, I got some silver coin cleaner from a coin dealer, I just dip them for about 10 minutes and lightly brush them off with a soft toothbrush while running under water. I'm headed back to Ohio to visit the family this week and to hunt for my class ring I lost 25 years ago. HH, Mike
 
But all of those GEM MINT UNCIRCIRCULTED Morgan dollars appear to have thousands of scratches on them.Look like they were tumbled with iron filings.Now i'm no expert,but when those Morgan dollars were new,did they have all those scratches on them.Dave
