Would the double score be considered a Lame Duck?

No and I’m not saying that because I’m selling one. Same performance as the triple minus some options that not all people will want, need or use. Compare the options and decide if you want to spend the money for them, otherwise it’s the same.

I hope the Double is not a lame duck - I picked one up some months ago on the cheap & have not tried it yet. Got the small coil added too.
Which reminds me, I should charge the battery.......

Texkinzee, I assume you were airborne so how's your back? My younger brother ,Gordon Smith, will have his 4th back surgery on Feb. 5. He was career Army and had 2 tours in Vietnam. I never could convince him that sane people don't jump out of perfectly good airplanes. He loves to metal detect but a bad back can ruin it. I was a navy pilot and would never have considered leaping out of an airplane unless absolutely necessary. Thanks for serving our wonderful country. Today is a special day as far as I'm concerned. Trumps first day of his second tour!

Politics, religion, pretty girls and jokes are a big part of this forum. If you ignore members that talk about those things then that’ll probably be half of us? If you don’t like it there are other detecting forums that don’t allow those things that may be a better fit for you.

Guess I don’t read enough of the posts on here—I have seen very little of the first two, and not near enough of the last two. I stay away from the VIEWS forum, because this is a metal detecting site. Short Straw, I think you need to look at the caliber of most detectorists . Most think for themselves and don't need someone telling them what to do or say. Only the people that put the various forums together can and actually do have the right to constrict others comments. Look at the various forums and you will find that all kinds of comments are made . Also go back to my beloved Bill of Rights in our U.S. Constitution. Read it, then read about why the amendments are there. After reading your comments I think you are hurt because Trump won. Don't worry. There were a lot of feelings hurt when Biden won. I say this strictly based on your comments. You are totally wrong that this is only a detecting site. Look at the titles of the various forums . That is what makes Find's so great. Expand your thought process and enjoy living in the land of the FREE. Just face it, the liberals got their butts kicked. .
