WOT Questions

A couple of questions for the WOT users:
1. How does the coil weight compare to the ML 10.5 and what is the effect on the balance of the Explorer?
2. If digging coins at 8 inches or deeper in a park, what do you use for a recovery tool?
Thanks for your help.

When you start digging 8" or more in a park you will draw attention to yourself and it will be negative. Deep coins are old coins and you have to make a wider hole so you won't scrarch it, this will not work at a park.

1. Weight is about the same but because of the larger surface area the coil does take a little more effort to drag across the ground so it does wear you down a little quicker.
2. I use a Lesche Standard Digging Tool (trowel) for normal conditions and a Lesche Ground Shark shovel for hard soil or heavy root conditions. I don't think it's the tool you carry or the depth of the hole you dig that will cause you trouble in most parks. Rather it is poorly dug or poorly filled in holes that will draw negative attention to you.
Good luck and don't be afraid to go after the deep ones!

Thanks for eveyone's help. Have some arthritis problems and may wimp out on this coil. Still undecided.
