worth the money?

Thanks, Ken. Those are great ideas and some that I intend to use. Have you had any trouble with moisture getting into your unit? Are you using a wet suit in knee deep water? In my opinion, with the many features, which include being water proof and with the wireless headphone unit, this is like having 2 units in one and definitely worth the money.
Thanks
Ken

I have a wet suit but prefer using my chest wadders. I got the neoprem
Wadders. To be honest i dont go out past knee high in the winter, the waves
are to unpredicable at night. Thats when i do most of my hunting.

I would like to thank all for the great input on this subject. The decision process was like a roller coaster ride changing daily. I would especially like to thank Bromly/ Ken for pushing me over the top and making my decision to get a CTX30/30. Loved the E-Trac and know I'll love this machine also Just wanted to hear some of you owners help" persuade" me. Can't wait and " Look out gold" !

I own an E-Trac, a CZ21, an Excal II and a CTX. The because of the CTX, the E-Trac is on its way out. I don't like wireless headphones, I don't use the GPS, target trace means nothing to me and I don't enjoy using the machine in the water but to me the CTX is worth the money I paid for it (keep in mind that if you ask you will get a significantly ower price than the advertised price). What makes the CTX worth it to me is that I can hunt with it in the rain, the ergonomics and balance are awesome and it really does well on deep silver.
