Wondering how many of you hunted animals before detecting?

Sorry to hear about your health Grubstake. Hopefully the DR.s can extend some more good time for you. You forgot to tell the folks about being hunted while in Vietnam. Now there would be some stories. Again hope you get good news about your health. Remember when the going gets tough the tough get going. 1st Infantry Div. 67-68 HH and May God Bless You!

I used to hunt animals but gave that up when my kids were born. Not only did it get expensive but I just lost the heart to kill anything , strange how that happens sometimes. But I still fish , less these days but I still enjoy it. Metal detecting has a lot in common with hunting and fishing , still the same anticipation and thrill when all goes well. Still almost the same fun in preperation for a hunt and time spent outdoors. Still kinda fills the hunter/gatherer nature many of us still have.
