Wireless Vs. the Grey Ghost.. my observation

Captain Leno

I got both...
Although it nice not to have the cord..
The wireless are no match for the Grey Ghost.
The character sound of the target is much clearer and crisper with the ghost...

Have not even plugged a set of wired headphones in to my V3 yet will have to try it some time.

I have not gone wireless. The Koss headphones seem to do just fine.

it's the other way around for me , The GG would hurt my ears, just being on my head for 30 minutes, the wireless are more comfortable and I can hunt with them all day. Other than losing the stereo signal briefly from time to time, I like the sound quality of the wireless headphones, and have sold all my GG, Ratphones, and Sunray headphones.

I use the grey gosts too. I like the wireless. No more wire to get in the way

:) A few times I set out to hunt, only to find that my WIRELESS headphones were still in the van! LOL After years of just hanging the WIRED HP on the detector shaft when walking to a location...Like walking away from the van without the pinponter :-| Till I got the DX-1 ;-)

I love the wireless. Except when I drive home and forget I have them on. Triple stupid me.:drinking:

I just got a V3 and I can tell you that for some dumb reason I can not adjust the target or threshold to a decent volume on the beach. Then...... I turned them on.

I was looking forward to using the wireless headphones. I have sensitive ears and the wireless headset seems not quite deep enough to cover my ears without pressing on too hard in the center of my ears.

I simply pulled my KB II's (with leather cups) off my MXT and haven't looked back. Besides, it saves battery life.
