Wireless headphones , modification and test results.

Post all you want. It's crappy here and this is my detecting fix! The phones are very loud. There is a volume control that works both speakers. It adjusts the speaker volume the same. If you have bad hearing in one ear you may want to get headphones with separate adjustments. The RS headphones has 64 ohm's of impedance. My elcheapo's had 32 ohms. There is a big difference in the two.

I'll probably just wait till I get the money and try out the rs ones. Keep us posted on em. Hope the batt life is 8 hrs like it says too. Are they pretty comfortable?

They have plastic clips that hook over the top of the ears. The band goes behind you head. They are very light. I wear glasses and my other headphones pressed my glasses ear pieces into my head and was always somewhat sore.

I found this very short headphone cord at the Dollar Tree for $1.00
This is if you want to mount the transmitter like in the picture. I made my little extention but would have bought this one. In fact I did buy it for a back up. The pigtail is for dual headphones but I cut one off. It works fine.

Might as well keep this great thread going!!

I'm planning to purchases a YF-1 Sunray Probe for my Ace 250 and would also like the wireless headset to go along with it. Has anyone tried this combination?? Results, Problems, Comments??
