Wireless (Cordless) Earphones???

HP makes a set of bluetooth with built in volume control. On their site for 80 bucks with transmitter. Use them on my sovereign.

I have used wireless make shift earphones for about 8 years.
The transmitter is about $5-10 FM and a set of headphone radio earphones, about $5-15. The biggest problem is finding a clear freq and they tend to drift a little. I used Velcro to attach the transmitter on the det, its about 1x2" and the headphones are small and light also with volume control.

HP has a set of bluetooth with volume that work. They were on sale before christmas. Used on Sovereign and teknetics.

FYI As has been stated many times here, wireless headphones, especially the Blue Tooth versions, seem to have a delay problem as you pass over targets. Some say they can live with it. Another problem seems to be saturation. Many detectors have no volume control, and saturate the heaphone transmitter's input with hi-audio causing it to agc to a low level. Other's claim no problem. I fully recommend, if you can, test YOUR detector before you lay down your hard earned cash, or at least make a deal with the store, that they'll let you return for full refund. Good luck with this one.

Question about Airheadz: Do your ears explode when pinpointing? Or is there a "muffler" on them to suppress the loud sounds like some wired headphones have?

I bought the radio shack ones for my omega and had the same problem with the initial beep being loud and the rest were so soft I could hardly hear them with the head phones turned all the way up.

My solution for that was to spend 10 bucks from Kelly co and bought the KOSS VC/20 Volume Control for Headphones. This allowed me to put the volume control box any where I want it too. It works fine now.
