Here's a picture of my back yard this morning. More snow is expected Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I'm glad I was able to get out on the weekend. Rob

[attachment 111785 FirstSnow008.jpg]We had a little snow also Rob. This was taken yesterday and to think that the day before Larry was out detecting. It's been snowing since. Larry scooped off over 5" yesterday and there's another 5" if not more today. Good ole Illinois weather for ya! Hey, one good thing about it.......IT'S A SNOW DAY FOR ME!!! 5 DAY WEEKEND!!!! Stay warm up North and HH to the ones that can be, Nancy

Looks like you guys are going to have to get your snow suits and boots on before you go detecting today... No snow in my area today, just a little foggy and that should burn off soon. Stay warm. HH Dennis in Idaho

LOVE THE SNOW!!!......:clapping:..... great pictures,

Brrrr...time to put on the Carhartts. As long as the ground don't freeze I'm still digging!

I think the ground here is pretty much frozen. The thermometer says it's 16 out there. [attachment 111853 images.jpg] Stay warm out there and HH to you, Nancy

I just went out in the yard and the Lesche cut into the ground with no trouble Nancy. It hasn't frozen yet but if it doesn't warm up soon who knows. Rob

Our ground here in Northern Cali is finally soft enough to dig. It finally rained a few weeks ago and the morning dew has been pretty thick. Temps been in the 60's, Nice m'ding weather! Now only if I can find somebody to watch the kids!!!

You're more brave than I am. The only thing I want to do out there is run to my car. Well, I do go out and do the doggy patrol. :look::unsure::look: When coming home from work, there was still a lot of ice and snow on the roads. HH and stay warm! Nancy

Well that's whats coming my way here in New Hampshire but nothing yet. Tomorrow high 40's heading to the coast for a little beach detecting with the old yellow banana my newest toy Surf PI hope it brings in a lot .

Keep warm Butch

I wish we were with you hunting the beaches. What fun! Do it while you can and good luck, Nancy

When Calvin lost a quarter in the snow he wanted to bring out the hair dryer; don't think Hobbes agreed.

I think they call it "snow." It's similar to the stuff they call "rain," only colder. They want me to believe it falls out of the sky. Sure.

I feel sorry for you cold weather people. It gets plenty cold here too but not that damn cold!! If I were you I think I'd have to move far far away!!

I'd give anything to have my new MXT and be where ever any of you guys are. It was -9 degrees at my place this morning and -15 degrees at my sons home about 6 miles away. Yup, winter is here. Think I'm going to sit back, suck a suds and do my research for next year.

That's what we do in the wintertime. Lots of time to research! Stay warm and hopefully you'll get your MXT soon. Nancy

I love here in Sacramento California and the weather in nice. I am new to the hobby, so I will have some time to improve. I loke to see the snow or visit, but this is it.:usmc::laugh:
