Tried to update my D2 to version 1.1 , but as soon as i connect my D2 remote to the pc i get the message saying USB device not recognised , more problems again trying to update.

Windows is saying USB device not recognised

The message is because the PC itself doesn't recognize it as a storage device which it is NOT. Ignore the message and update the remote and WS6. Make sure your usb port is colored blue also. XP software is setup for the faster speed.

I received the same error message if I did not set up my RC or Puck to the update mode.
After I did that the USB plug worked without an error message.

I think my PC is bugged as i have tried everything mentioned and windows keeps telling me it's incompatible. I will have to take the remote to the dealers or try on another pc. I am not desperate for this version 1.1 anyway.
version 1 will have to do for the time being.

All is well now , i managed to update after several failed attempts , thanks for the tips. Version 1.1 is now on my Remote.

My wireless headphones (WSA 2XL ) worked straight away too after updating the remote , i did not need to update the phones.

I think as long you have a v1.0 they will work together

Yes if you have version V1.0 you only need to update the remote and not the phones , the phones will work without straight away.
