Wilson RC IV ?

Didn't want to say anything until my friend had the R&C IV in his hands for me in England, should be getting it soon.Waited a long time to find one. He tested it and say works good. Shipping alot cheaper this way.

Awesome! Let me know how you like it. I was a little concerned when the guy who sold it said it made like a static noise between target's? As the wilsons are suppose to be quiet as a church mouse when not over a target. But if your friend say's it is O.K. then it is as the previous owner was a newbee.

Yes I will say how it works, just talked to the friend and yes,it works how it should,he used one in the 90's so knows the detector. He has the instruction book for it,which he sent me. Also have a CScope CS4pi comeing with it.

Got the Relic & Coin IV today, very nice shape.Found everything in my test garden,(deepest being a silver quarter at 9")with depth set at normal and disc. set at Pulltabs.Air tested our old silver 5 cent piece at 11 1/2" with same setting, not bad for a 21 year old detector.Looks good in the collection.

A correction, that was a silver dime, not a silver 5 cent piece used in the airtest, didn't have my glasses on.

I like uesing them, not my everyday detector but it runs silent, set the disc. where I want it and its good for beep and dig days.

I've rarely ever used mine in parks because hard to deal with all the trash, but never tried it in higher disc setting. For farm field detecting it is my killer. Beats everything else I've ever used and most times beats everything else anyone else is using.
