If it works, I think it's because the body may be sensing slight changes
in the ground, or being sensitive to the water area. Kind of like the moon's
pull effects the oceans, and some animals. There may be some kind of
very slight change or disturbance in the magnetic field. I dunno..
But that is just speculating.. It's when these guys start asking the stick
yes and no questions is when my eyes start rolling around..

In that case, I think it is like a Ouija board..
Course, some will tell you that without a doubt Ouija boards let you
talk to dead people.. I'm not too convinced though..
Even Einstein thought there could well be something to dowsing,
and could have something to do with senses that most people don't
feel, or ignore. I guess he saw people that seemed to be able to do it.
I think it's quite possible there is something to it for some people.
But I also think a lot of them are fakes.. If one starts asking it, is that
the way to go?, and then waiting for a yes or no...

I'd expect a geenuwine dowser to only go by rod or stick movements.
And I'd expect some to be able to do it with no rods at all. Or at least
sense the water being in the area.
The rods are only supposed to amplify the slight movements of the body,
and make them more noticeable according to the ones that seem
fairly rational.
