wildlife encounter

I was out in the middle of the woods and making my way back to my vehicle a couple of years ago (almost dark outside). There were three coyotes that circled me probably 100 feet away and then stopped in front of me and got low to the ground like they were waiting on me to walk up on them. I was kind of worried, but I raised my detector high in the air, started yelling and running at them and they took off like a scared puppy.

No, not first hand; however, it is a famous place well known for its prehistoric history, unique climate, and wildlife. Cantabria is easily in my top 5 favorite places in the world to visit.

Probably the ones that I was cautious about the most ever. Wildlife I unerstood..and if it did not undestand me then there was always Mr 9mm to explain it.

But prospecting deep in the hills of Az...that was another dangerous event. The rattlesnakes never were an issue..a pair of snake chaps and a little catuion and they did there thing. It was the illegals, dope growers and worse the freaky paranoid prospectors who were happy to shoot you now and bury you later.

Ran into a few dope grows....and fresh illegal alien camps...both run by people who also shoot first and dispose of you later. I am serious that the spookiest craziest people I ever ran into were out in them hills. Even had one time when we ran into a realo spooky guy...and my hunting partner came over and had me sorta slink off like I was going pee but really he wanted me off to the side with my 9mm drawn to my side just in case. this guy was sketchy sketchy and acting even sketchier. Even had people fire rounds off at us to scare us off while we were prospecting on unclaimed land...worked for me!. Crazy b@stards.

I take great pride and satisfaction that my land is in your "top 5". Be sure to let me know if you make this trip to Cantabria. I will make it unforgettable for you.
