Wife gets a Legendary find

We hit one of our favorite permissions yesterday. It's one of those places you get skunked a lot but if you do pull a coin, it's gonna be an older one. Lisa bagged her first ever Morgan with her new Legend using the 6" coil.

1904-S one of the better dates.

Those Morgan’s are sweet coins. I think it took me 15 years before I found my first one. Finding big silver In Dirt is a dram come true.

What a terrific find, congratulation! And you have a terrific wife to detect with too. Mine will not entertain the thought.
 
I was out detecting today when the wind made an abrupt 90 degree change….. oh wait that would have been all the oxygen being funneled S of here from the loud gasp she had to have let out!!!!

Lisa asked me to thank you all for your kind posts and likes. A silver dollar has been her white whale for years.
I don't see her jumping up and down hollering on too many finds but at 100' away, I could hear her telling (yelling) me to "get over here!"
I'm beyond lucky to have a hunting partner like her. She is a really good detectorist and loves the hobby and the history.

Yes sir, great for you! My wife plays in the dirt as much as I do, but her thing is plants and flowers. She will, though, give me a few minutes when I have a tale to tell about something good I found. Whats that old saying, they who hunt together, stay together? (y) HH jim tn
 
Darn nice find! They don't pop up often but when they do its a shocker! I dug one last year in a field it was so shallow I almost did not dig it! I though for sure it was a aluminum can!

Wow congrats on the Nice Morgan ! Now she is going to drag you out the door telling you Let's go metal detecting . Need to get her a silver necklace with a Silver dollar holder so she can wear it... lol
