Katz, I have had my MXT for 15 months, it has surpassed anything I could have hoped for. What I would suggest is find someone who has an MXT and go out on a few hunts, get the MXT Edge book and a 10 DD coil and you are away to the races.
I have paid for my machine, 39 rings of which 10 gold, 14 silver and the rest what can I say :~). I have since bought a water machine which paid for my airfare to Mexico from my finds on the beach.
