Tesoro makes great metal detectors, lightweight, affordably-priced, and made right here in the USA. If that wasn't enough, they back them up with the best warranty in the business. Oh, and you can call them and actually speak to a human being. If you ask me, they represent all that's still right with this country. They harken back to an age, that frankly, I miss. I'm astounded to hear people put them down. In fact, I heard someone complaining on another forum that they had to pay a nominal fee to get their SECOND HAND Tesoro fixed. Give some people an inch and they want to take a mile. And not only do they try to take that mile, they bash the company on the Internet, knowing it will hurt future sales. There will come a day, not just in consumer electronics, but in all businesses, when there will only be huge corporations left and the consumer will be stuck with the mass-produced, foreign-made garbage that they feed them. Then people will wish there was still a company like Tesoro around. Aside from all that, their detectors are truly awesome, at least to those who have the patience to learn them.
Ain't that the truth!
There are a lot of worthless people out there today. Give them an inch and they'll take a mile.
