White's pinpointer

Yes, it has 3 lights to let you know what's under the coil. It is not submerable to crazy depths. I think it's like 25 feet while other brands are 250. Not that it will be deeper than 5 feet with me. I want a little more than 3 lights as my target ID. Plus the ability to quickly change out the coils, headphones and not weigh 5.5 pounds.

BHID had three lights good on a dark day but in bright sunlight was a pain.
They could have remedied that by extending those led lights further out.
Found my share of rings with it but a tad heavy in and out of the water.

They were forced to put out a formal announcement because as always someone just couldn't keep quiet.

Then one of the Dealers decided they wanted to post a picture before the factory got a chance to make the announcement - which was not at all authorized. Plus there is a picture of a newsletter floating around listing the features - again, of which it was not authorized. And as you can see from that, there have already been changes since that CONFIDENTIAL Newsletter was leaked - for example the factory has stepped away from the IP68 rating due to varying circumstances so because a dealer decided to put that information out, there are numerous posts stating it's waterproof when it's not.

So, it wasn't the factory giving you a "taste" it was someone who couldn't keep quiet that ultimately forced White's hand to make the announcement.

......But hey what are you going to do, there are always going to be those people out there who just have be first.

Interesting, the pinpointers are a tight one to gain a market share in. I love whites products and will be getting one for sure, reliability will be key.
