Whites MXT Does It Again

Thank you GoldChaser. I'm still in disbelief and also amazed all at the same time.

Thank you Matt, For some strange reason (and I do mean strange) my MXT kept sounding off and wanted me to dig it. Funny, I've always said, "Trust your machine". I guess I was reminded of that again.

That's a great deal Matt! Way to go!!!!

Even after all these years The MXT's always Bring us Back down to Earth with a Bump, and you are Spot about Trust The Machine, It's an easy mistake to make when A Person has used other Machines, But they MXT will always put you in your Place, I have Learnt that the Hard Way, and if you still Argue with her, She will Punish you,:argue:

Lovely Finds Nancy, Congrats and thanks for posting the Pictures.

Thanks Sweeper, There's many times I've said to myself, "Trust your machine". Just yesterday I was saying it and I came home with 2 Indian cents. 1905 & 1883. Yep, trust your machine. Thanks again and HH, Nancy

JUST CURIOUS WHAT DID IT RING UP AND IF YOU DONT MIND ME SNOOPING WHAT WERE THE SETTINGS. I HAVE YET TO PULL ANYTHING GOLD OR SILVER OUT THE GROUND BEEN HUNTING NICE OLD PLACES SO I HOPE I HAVENT DONE SOMETHING WRONG OWNED MXT 300 4 YEARS MXT PRO 1.5 YEARS NOW MXT ALL PRO 8 MONTHS WITH 8X6 SEF THAT I HAVE USED ON ALL 3. THIS IS REALLY GOT ME BAFFLED MAN I WILL BE SICK IF I HAVE SKIPPED OVER THESE FINDS ALL THESE YEARS.

Hi Donld, I always hunt old properties in Relic mode/trigger forward. Had my discrimination set at about 5. Set my gain around 7-8 and the threshold just where you can barely hear it. After I'm done cherry picking, I turn the duel control to 3 and go over it again. Any high chirps are targets. Listen for those soft gentle chirps. That's a sweet sound. Hope that helps and HH, Nancy

That's some good information. Give it a try on my next hunt. Thanks Nancy.

You're welcome Vito. Good luck and keep us posted.

WOW !! Awesome hunts Nancy . Happy belated congratulations . You really did some great harvesting there . That's a very cool Bracelet and those coins held their age very nicely ( loved the potato ) . Unfortunately I was only able to get out for 1+ 1/2 hrs. last night during this weekend due to some unexpected , time consuming bummers but still did ok for the time spent . I just can't wait to get out and swing the ALL PRO again , It's a remarkable machine .

Thank you Dirt Doctor, I'm sorry you didn't get out with your MXT Pro last weekend. Possibly this coming weekend you'll be able to play in the dirt. We went out for a few hours and I did manage to rescue a 1906 Indian and 9 Wheat cents. Thanks again and HH, Nancy
