White gold rosary beads and cross...

Not many targets today in spite of some huge cuts. Ended up walking down to the west field where I got a half decent (but deep) sounding mid tone. I dug a couple of scoops, got close to the target when a small wave filled the hole with water. Scanned the hole but no tone. Scanned the sand from the hole... no tone. I dug about 10 or so more scoops and still, no target so I walked away (thinking it was a pull tab that got washed away). I walked about 50' and thought to myself that it sounded too good to give up on, so I went back. I dug many more scoops and a huge hole BUT no target. While muttering to myself I looked down and there, on the side of the hole (peaking out of the sand) was a silver cross! I picked it up and found that it was a rosary bead chain marked 14K! On one side of a "tag" it said "Rosario de la tierra santa" or Holy Land Rosary and the other "Jerusalem 14K". Googled it and found it on Ebay so this is the real deal... The entire thing weighs a nice 9.5 dwt. With gold closing over $1600 an ounce yesterday, this is a very nice find! :crazy:

Nice find for you, Joe, but the person who lost it is probably really sad to have lost it. The 'New' high in gold prices is good for us though.
 
I got a necklace today also but it is costume and other jewelry.
 
Beautiful and wonderful find, Joe, and you are blessed indeed, but I am jealous as that is a fantastic find for those who love Jesus! May God keep on blessing and blessing you with silver and gold finds! Amen! Had you not listened to God's Holy Spirit's urging you would have left it laying there in the water and wet sand! Remember Ray, our gov't is selfish and greedy towards its citizens and if they could they would take our homes and everything we have away, and if not by higher taxes than by hook or crook! Most anyone that has way more than they need, do not care for those who have less and want theirs, too! 'Tis a sinful world we live in all because of satan's lies and snares to get as many as he can into the Lake of Fire with him! yeah the sad thing is tho that the goverment will not go out and get theres like we would do insted they say "oh no" you cant hunt here because it may make you rich enough too do something about the way things are going ....lol ok off my soap box......
 
They are greedy but don't want to do the work, but just take it from those who spend money and do hard research and working to find the goodies! Many don't even pay taxes like the ordinary working man does and then have to scrounge and penny pinch just to make ends meet! It won't be like that in new Jerusalem City though, for God is peace and He is just! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
