Which one do you think would work better at cellar hole digging for nonferrous objects? Gold Bug SE or Omaga 8000 ?

My 6 by 10 is designed to work at 19KHz......first thing I noticed is.... it is more stable than the 11 inch Bi-axial coil and there is no air space inside meaning it has neutral buoyancy and may be a hair negative ..(Slices thru water like a KNIFE)..Am I Happy with it.... heck NO.... I am Never satisfied..it is against the nature of the beast.....I always ... dig a little deeper....Tweak a little more....
pin-out is 1 - 2 TX and 2 - 4 Receiver......... Any wire that is properly pinned Out to the control box could be made to make an extension my coil uses the old four wire 2 wires in a shielded Assembly... Times ...2.. with a bare shield running around all 2 bundles.......it was so quiet there was no need to run the exterior Ground......better yet would probably be a S video cable.....remember the old gold bug with the extension cord lead .......it was a small jacketed wire within a Jacketed wire......One set of TX leads...... the other Assembly was the RCV leads Jacketed wire within a Jacketed wire......Side by side they looked like an OLE extension cord... later on Fisher saw ...the cost effectiveness of this set up and went with a proprietary cable that Holds up better and has thicker insulation Around the 2+2 self shielding Leads.......so before you toss that old coil you may want to cut the end off and look for the Double Deuce....

I have always tried to help others learn...... somethings are given and some secrets can only be earned
Yes I have found Gold with My Bug SE...first time out the gate .....Am I telling every body and makin a stampede......NADA.....Got a couple of buds that are itchin to get there fingers on ONE like mine.....One might only ask if they are waiting now ..(on order - Back Ordered)....How much worse it would be if I was singing like a canary....truth is you would not believe me .....but Shawn saw what I and HE could make it do....

The Tx is pins 3-4 on the calrad connector # 30-518...RCV.....is pins 1-2 ..<<<BUG PIN OUT))))...I believe this is the right connector... I will verify that part # when i get some new stock to play with.....On closer examination of the wire FT has on a little football shaped coil for the F75 series i noticed What Bernie (Beachcomber) was saying about a strange wire it is NICE wire and should have an extremely long Flex life it is 5 conductor... Tthe TX leads from my notes for this connector on F75 is the white #1 & clear #2....which is basically a tiny coaxial lead......brown,black and orange are a separate bundle with orange being aheat shrink color applied to the brown & black shielding wrap Orange #5....Black pin #4 and Brown pin #3 RECV again This an F75 Pin out....and i O'scoped the signal's ........Nice wire ....makes it easy to change pin out for different units and different coils.....where you would not damage a machine hopefully by putting on the wrong coil.......Besides that ....It is ...wire and electrons are not that fussy about wire... they conduct thru ....within certain perimeters....just remember.... I took the connector off the F75 coil and wired up a Gold stinger coil for the Bug SE and noted observations of wire thru the history of the eyes of an old fisher repair tech.....who would rather be digging.....so much to do and so little time....its a secret pshhh....Jim's new project is a 289 1967 Mustang..(was a one owner car)....my first car was a Mustang got her naked... right down to the bare metal and she was running when i drove her right into my lab ....bizzy... doing sheet metal, eyeballing detectors& kickin my shovel....Trying to get abox ready or Vessel to secure my bug from harms way......
