Which of Gonehunting's programs are people using? And a quick review

I have found at least two, and possibly a 3rd program.

Are people raving about the "Combined 2 mode. Open first profile, 2nd with heavy discern"?

People have sent me links to GHs site, but every download has a 2nd program called "50 tone".

As a side note, the first listed program above is VERY similar to one I built. It seems to work quite well.


Also, having only had the 3030 for a week, all I can say is WOW!!! This thing is super hot. I know people have talked about how difficult the detector is, but I have actually been very shocked with how well laid out and simple the programming design in. It certainly takes some non conventional thinking, but once you do that it should be good to go.

I also printed page 9 of the manual and laminated it so I had a button cheat sheet. Makes on the fly changes very easy in the field.

I use gone huntings programs since I received the CTX. The one I use is in the CTX resource center. It is the fourth one from the bottom. There are two listed in the resource center. The one I am using does not have "starter" in the title. If you pull up the screen shot of the exchange two program you can see exactly how it is set up and laid out When I set it up I pulled the picture up on my iPhone and used the exchange 2 on my computer to build the program and saved it into the CTX.

I use the Combined 2 "open" mode normally and the Combined with heavy dics when I'm in a lot of thrash or trying to identify a target. I think Evan (gonehunting)switches from the Combined to the 50 tone to help identify targets, but I have trouble with that one.
