enlarged lymph gland under his arm. CAT scan revealed a large soft tissue mass of a lymph node ... "concerning for pathologic adenopathy".

This lead to immediate surgery...results: massive infection of lymph gland ( we think due to the several dog bites that Jacky inflicted over the past several months).

As of now, Hank is recuperating in front of the Golf Channel under the watchful eye of his private duty nurse :clapping:

He has a drain at the site of the incision and dressing needs changing often; I'm on duty and I'm loving it.....spoiling the patient with his favorite foods and doting on him.

It was a scare for both of us, but things are looking good again...as you say Elson, "LIFE IS GOOD"!

Biopsy is being performed....I suspect that it will be negative for cancer cells, but will know for sure in a few days.

Oops..gotta go....Hank is calling for some tea with lemon and honey

I am still around---Just don't post much any more---I can not walk any more so I have to use a walker to go any place---One thing is I still Think about going But I never get around to doing it---I am getting to old to do much of anything so most of my day is spent in a chair doing nothing---The problem is my knees are shot; I cannot get Kaiser to replace them so I could walk again---I can stand on them, But cannot walk on them

Hello Sir,

It's not easy getting older. I know and many on the forum understand as well. I'm concerned that there
isn't any way you can receive some help with your knee replacement situation. I hope there will
be somewhere you can get some assistance with your mobility in the future.

Keep your mind active with some significant interests.

My doctor told me before I retired that he wasn't worried about me because I had so many interests
which would keep my mind active. I started in a new field of employment two weeks after I retired,
which requires a lot of memorization of facts, details, and includes hours of research each week.

Respectfully,

The Nutty Teacher
