Here's the ideal spot for you guys to detect in comfort: the nearest air-conditioned mall that has a jewellery shop.

Silly old me will just keep on roughing it out at nearby spots full of thorn bushes, mosquitos and hot hot sun...and then drive back to the comforts of home.

it would be nice but sort of take the challenge out of it

i don't mind the hot day hunt but need some relief at the end of the day to far to drive home where i would be at so need somewhere to get cleaned up and cool down and eat maybe i need to toughen up a bit but seem to used to the mod cons i still will dream though but will be hitting some gold fields in the spring time few months away yet, got the bug a SD2100v2 and xterra 705 so no real excuses to not go do i

I stay out of jewelery stores. No money to buy such items and nobody to give them items to.
But I do not mind finding a few dollars a day. Better than sitting on my rum in pain every day...
