Where do you guys live?

I live in Central Florida and just bought my AT Pro and have not used it yet so I am not sure of the settings. I suspect I will poach some of ya'lls settings and see which work best for me. I am going to start learning how to use it tomorrow.

Great Falls, MT. Central Montana. GB varies depending where I go.

18 Miles west of Hartford CT. Ground balance is typically between 89 - 93 with 91 being the most frequent GB # on inland soil.

Now - Tacoma Wa. G/B. 89-93
Grew up Sate college Pa.

Southern Saskatchewan Canada. Basically in the middle of nowhere. Average G/B in local farm fields is around 86-89. But this is variable with highly mineralized locations.

This post I like it! Gradually I visit these places you live, read his story and try to see pictures of today and yesterday. Forts, mounted, Indians, trappers and settlers, forests, rivers, prairies, bison and beaver, horses, canoes ... these things thrill me. For me it's as exciting as you like our castles ...
thanks

Oahu, Hawaii, on the beach just around the tip of Diamond Head. It's 80 degrees with a soft NNW breeze and the smell of hibiscus in the air. The water is also about 80 degrees and I can hear the strumming of a ukelalea. I'm lying in my hammock after a 2 hour hunt in the surf this morning in which I found 6 gold rings. Wait! My wife is calling me. Wake up, you lazy bastard and take this garbage out! I realize I've been having that recurring dream again here in the frozen tundra of upstate NY!
