Are the V3i upgraded form V3's Identical to factory made V3i's ??

Or are there minor differences??

The only difference is the upgraded V3 has an (i) sticker added to the box. Factory made V3i has the (i) silkscreen on the box. An upgraded V3 has a new display pod as well as new software and if you have the headphones, they are updated and new ear muffs too. White's will even check the old coil for you and replace it if needed. Can't go wrong on an upgraded V3.

The most are those you already ve been told, but the most helpful for me was this forum and actually in the "reference links" in the beginning of v3i forum the Rob"s "HUNTING IN MINERALIZED GROUND WITH THE V3i" it is very helpfull, to understand your detector.
