A couple lost an $8,000 diamond ring on the Cape at the end of last year, they pulled in tractors to move the stones under the board walk, everything was tried, no ring found. So, the $8,000 ring is still in the water or between rocks or buried under one after they moved everything.
Or, it floated out to sea past where they thought they lost it.
I have not had time to go out to look for it. Plus, I sold all my detectors, I am looking to buy one now...so...we will see what happens...
Again, Bob, that was an amazing gift you gave those folks back, it does not get any better than what you did...

Way to go. I'm guessing you knew them or someone that did as they called you for help. I wonder how many times before she or her husband had seen someone metal detecting and thought "look at that loser looking for pennies"? Probably won't think that thought again!
