When I saw THE RING in the scoop,,,It was then

That I realized the magnitude of finding it!!!
I got a call around 5PM this evening about a lost diamond ring in the water at the beach.I had a dinner engagement already planned,so I said I would meet them there after 7PM.It was quite clear after meeting them that she was very upset, sick to her stomach. The ring was lost in the afternoon during the high tide on the outside of the sandbar in deeper water. It was a low tide when I got there which is a good thing, but the sea-breeze along with the NNW wind was dishing up 3 to 4 foot seas.I made my way out to the area while being directed by the couple on the beach.I started a gridded pattern moving from the edge of the sandbar to deeper water never going more than chest deep. With the couple pacing the beach in anticipation I hit 5/6 targets b4 seeing the ring in the scoop 20 minutes or so later....WOW!!!...Hope to find one like this someday!!!..I turned toward the beach and raised my fist in triumph.....She fell apart....As I made my way in I could tell she was in tears and when I dropped the ring in her hand...she was unstoppable. She hugged me...sopping wet...crying,till her husband convinced her to let me go.The people on the beach waiting for the sunset, were aware of what was going on and were clapping and taking pictures. What a great feeling!!!
HH GL ALL.

Great story-job well done. Hope I can do it someday.
I failed at two requests on the beach. But the area was not specified enough.

An awesome job you performed for that lady! Acts like this is what we all need to be ready to do and good things always come to those that do good! Great work!
